Michelle

Meet Michelle! Michelle is an eclectic, knowledgeable, and exceptional artist. She has been in the professional salon industry for almost 25 years. Michelle started her career in Phoenix, Arizona Beauty school, in 2000, afterwards she briefly worked in an ethnic hair salon for her first year as an apprentice, next opening her own full-service salon in Arizona, specializing in multi-dimensional color and cuts.

Years later, Michelle moved her career to Chicago and had studios there. She kept her business there for 13 years. After moving to Georgia in 2018, she managed salons and barber shops until recently joining the Art Works Crew in 2023.

Michelle has an admirable capability of understanding client’s hair needs and has the experience to get just about anyone where they want to be. Her love for the industry and her compassion for people are two huge factors in her success. Within minutes of being in her presence, you can feel her excitement to accomplish your hair goals together. Michelle is such a unique soul. She creates such a positive energy, and instant comfort to everyone in her chair.

Along with her accomplishments as a previous salon owner, and many years as a Color/Cut Specialist, she is also certified as an Extension Specialist and is educated in All-Nutrient Color Systems.

Michelle is a mother of two and has three grandchildren. (Hard to believe!). She has a wonderful fiancé, with an amazing future ahead of her. In her free time, she loves her Yoga as a lifestyle, not a hobby. She also loves being outside, hiking, or relaxing anywhere peaceful, especially by a pool! We are very lucky to have this beautiful soul as part of our team at Art Works!
